Carly

Australian Shepherd
Adopted!

Carly is a joyful and happy pup! You would never know that she is 8 years old. She loves playing fetch and tug of war. She has the cutest wiggle butt when she is excited! She is loyal to her people and just wants to be near them. She walks great on a leash and loves walks in the neighborhood. She is also a great jogging partner! She was quick to learn how to go up and down stairs. She is an energetic girl who needs to be exercised and engaged with daily. She likes to sleep in her bed on the floor beside her human. She gets along well with other dogs but due to issues with food possession, she will need to be fed separately if around other dogs.

Carly is a double merle. In addition to being blind, she is also losing her hearing, possibly due to age. Carly tested positive for Lyme's Disease and whipworms since coming to her foster house but has started treatment for both and is already doing better!  Although she does not see clearly, she sees better in bright light and can see some shadows and motion. Carly is an indoor dog with the run of the house. She's housebroken and leash trained and would benefit from a fenced in yard. Carly is outgoing and good with people of all ages. She's also good with both male and female dogs and cats. She is the sweetest girl and would make a great addition to any family!
