Maltese/Papillon mix

Babe is a sweet 13 year old girl who recently lost the only mother that she has ever known. While it takes a few days for her to get settled in, she quickly has become a part of the family. Babe is mostly deaf and is going blind but has no issues maneuvering around new surroundings. Babe may be an older girl but you would never know it. Despite having no teeth, she loves to “chew” on bully sticks, eats toy breed kibble and enjoys soft treats that are broken up. While she is Maltese and Papillon by breed, there must be some goat in there! She loves to climb anything that she possibly can. You never know where you will find her next. Babe loves to snuggle both people and other dogs. She had a feline sibling at one time that she would always curl up with.

Babe is prone to allergies, and is currently being treated for ear infections. She has a discharge from her right eye that the Ophthalmologist will be looking at in late November. Babe is spayed, microchipped and current on all her vaccines. She has what appears to be either lipomas or fatty tissue above both hips but neither appears to be problematic.
Babe will thrive in a loving environment. She was content to sit on a chair snuggled with her mom for hours. She is very quiet and only barks when she wants to go out or if her water bowl is empty. Once in a while she will also bark if you are ignoring her and she wants some attention – mostly snuggle time.

Babe was adopted!
