Champ has really come out of his shell over the last few months! He came to us in October and has been undergoing treatment for HeartWorm and on cage rest. Since he’s finished that up, his reserve is evaporating, and he has begun seeking out attention and learning to enjoy life again! Champ is very easy going and laid back. He loves food and was easily house trained here after a little bit of work. Champ enjoys napping on couches, chairs, dog begs, people beds, or anything comfy. Napping is his hobby! He walks pretty well on a leash. We use an easy walk harness for extra control and guidance. Champ is a big boy and a bit clumsy at times, but he’s a super sweet guy who will steal your heart along with your snack if you’re not looking! He gets along well with our teenage kids and our other large dogs. We don’t have young children, small dogs, or cats, but he would probably be okay with them as long as they are respectful of him. He’s a live and let live kind of dog.
