Daphne has a sweet personality and a very gentle nature. She loves to cuddle and be near her loved ones. When we play with the other dogs and things get exciting, she comes to be close to the action, but she does not participate.
She sleeps in a crate at night and is house trained. She has free range of the house during the day.
She has a big appetite and food is a big driver – she comes alive at meal times.
Her gentle nature is evident as soon as you meet her. She is not shy, or skittish, just mild mannered. She loves to be near her trusted companions and will sometimes cry out if they are gone from her side too long. She loves to sit on the back porch when the weather is good, holding her head up to soak in the sunshine. You can almost see the smile on her face.
