Update: 6/19/19 Dusty Rose is now completely housebroken! She has also mastered “sit” including treat time.
Update: 5/6/19 Dusty Rose has now had all of her vaccinations. She has mastered “sit” except when it is treat time for everyone, she gets too excited to sit still! She is doing wonderfully with “gentle” and starting to “leave it” when commanded.
Her stomach issues are calming down and we are having fewer accidents in the house. She is rapidly growing and is now 19 pounds. She loves to play with her 7 pound Chihuahua foster brother, have him clean her teeth and snuggle for cozy naps. She is still timid around large barking dogs. Rosie will require a home with a fenced in yard or a very active family. She loves to run and jump and needs to have space to do so.

Dusty Rose was born on January 28, 2019. She came to BDRA through a very kind foster home in Louisiana. She is a Lab/Catahoula mix who was born blind.
Dusty Rose is a very playful girl that is currently living with seven small dogs. She wants to play with all of them but only a couple have accepted her as a playmate. We are working on teaching her to be gentle when playing with small dogs and hope that soon she will be a playmate to all of them.
Dusty Rose is called Rosie in her foster home. She is very bright, at 14 weeks she taught herself to go up and down stairs. She has a bit of a sensitive stomach and we are working on finding just the right food for her. She is still in the process of being housebroken – the stomach issues have slowed that down a bit. She loves every person that she meets but has been very nervous around large barking dogs. We are working on her socialization.
