Latest Updates

  1. Fenney continues to do well in her foster home. She is a very calm, quiet, and lovable girl. She loves to eat, and her favorite food is boiled chicken! Fenney walks very well on a leash, never pulling and just taking in all that is around her. She does well with most other dogs if properly introduced. She does have two sebaceous cysts that have remained the same size since last fall. The vet is not concerned since the size of these has not changed. The vet also believes that Fenney is about eight years old, not five as we previously thought. Fenney loves all people (both children and adults). She is not a jumper or a barker, but will lean into you, hoping for a little pat, belly rub and love. She is definitely a sweet girl who would love a forever home.

  2. Fenney saw Dr. Glickstein who saw no vision issues with her at all. She is currently undergoing treatment for heart worms. She received immiticide injections in July to kill her heart worms. Because of this, she is on restricted activity for the next several weeks. Fenney is a sweet and gentle girl! Her tail wags whenever someone comes in the room. She especially loves when someone rubs her behind her ears and will “allow” you to do this for as long as you wish! She is an extremely calm dog, bothered by almost nothing with the exception of thunder. During a thunder storm, she wants to be right by your side until the storm passes. Fenney will make a wonderful addition to her future forever family!

  3. Fenney is such a gentle and loving dog. She is housebroken and walks very well on a leash. She absolutely wants nothing more than a pat on the head or a belly rub (and she will let you know, with a little nose rubbing, that she wants this!!) She loves long walks. She is good with other dogs, cats and children.
