Ginger

Shepherd X Great Pyrenees

Adopted!

11 • 20 • 2017 Update: I am now 4 1/2 montgs old and almost 40 pounds.   I am much happier now and always looking for hugs.  I play very nicely with my brother, Fred.  My housebreaking is going well, but I sometimes forget when I’m playing.

Original Description:

Hi Everybody! I’m Ginger, I am currently 3 months old. I live in my foster home with my brother who is also up for adoption. His name is Fred. I came to BDRA because it was believed I was completely blind. BUT I’m not. I have good vision, except it is not perfect. I cannot track a cotton ball, and when it is dark, I have trouble seeing. I don’t let that bother me though. I will make a great companion to the lucky person who will adopt me.

I am on the shy side, but am coming out of my shell. I love to play with my brother, and am starting to play with one of the dogs I live with. Because of my breed, I think I may grow up to be around 70 or so pounds. I love to cuddle in your lap and give great kisses too.

As a baby, I had the Strangles, but am fully recovered. I also am being treated for demodex mange, but really have made a big improvement. I am very active and would probably need a fenced in yard to play in. I’m a special little girl. Please consider adopting me and providing me with a fur-ever home. I would love to be adopted with my brother, but I could also be adopted separately. So if you are interested in me, please fill out that application and request me by name!!!
