Gretel
Australian Shepherd
Adopted!
Gretel is opening up and playing more and showing her goofy side.
Gretel is a very sweet 1-and-a-half-year-old Australian Shepherd. She even has a tail, which not all Aussies have. She is blind but that doesn’t stop her from smiling and seeking out people to give love to. She has a sweet spot on her chest that gets her legs going when rubbed. She will be shy at first and a little scared when in a new area, but she adjusts and becomes playful and loving. She has never shown any aggression to anything at all. We are working on leash walking. Right now, she will drop to the ground when she feels a tug on the leash. We are encouraging her and building her confidence. Gretel is a smart girl and is improving with her confidence every day.
Gretel already knows sit, and is very eager to get treats, so she is food motivated. She is house broken and has had zero accidents in her foster home. Her eyes are underdeveloped, but do not require any care. They are what they are.
Gretel is good with dogs of all sizes. She is in a foster home with medium and very small dogs and has started playing with them.
Gretel didn’t have a good start at life and is very deserving of her own loving home and family to live her life with.
Gretel was adopted!
