Updated February 2020:
After several months exposure to other male & female dogs, Keko has become accepting of the females. He still becomes aggressive with male dogs but with patience and supervision it is possible for Keko to live with females. Keko may be adopted with Loco or on his own.

Keko and Loco are littermates. They come from Puerto Rico where they were rescued. Keko is very dependent upon Loco. Keko loves to cuddle and play with toys, Loco and people. He will not play with other dogs and will growl and show his teeth to all dogs that are his size. He is a little more tolerant of larger dogs but will still growl at them as well. Keko can never be left unattended with any dog other than Loco and the ideal home for Keko will be one with no other dogs, cats or young children.

Keko will curl up with you for hours and enjoys having his belly rubbed. Keko is very loving when it comes to adults. Keko and Loco are living with 7 other small dogs in their foster home.

Keko is still learning to go to the bathroom outside and/or on wee pads. He was not trained at all when he arrived. Keko developed an eye infection after surgery that slowed his training down. Keko is hit or miss right now, but now that he is feeling better, his outside trips are becoming more successful. He is more successful in going to the bathroom on the covered porch than he is in the grass. He does not like cold or wet weather.
