Lilo is an amazingly easy to get along with dog who adapts to new situations very well. She is a tad bit shy at first but warms up VERY quickly and is a complete cuddle bug. She is happy to be picked up and held like a baby, cuddled, smooched and petted all day if you have time!!! She is very playful and loves to run in the yard and chase you when you call to her, she also loves to have toys squeaked and to toss them about! Lilo shows no aggression towards ANYONE, she is incredible with my two weims and was exceptional with my friends 6 year old boy…she absolutely LOVED him! Lilo is perfectly potty trained and will use a doggy door. She did not have one single accident in the house.
Lilo has some balance issues and needs lots of exercise to help her develop her muscles and become stronger on her long beautiful legs.
Lilo also spins a lot, she spins when excited, when stressful, when she potties or when she lies down… it really isn’t anything to worry about, you just want to be sure she has clearance around her to make her turns without hurting herself. She spins less when she has had good exercise.
Lilo is an incredible dog, she is beautiful, gentle, patient and sweet. She is confident enough to learn new things and we are working on leash walking. Right now she does not enjoy the leash and would rather just follow closely.
Lilo eats well and shares her food, treats and toys without exception. you can take anything from her mouth and she does not care and her gentle nature is the thing you notice most.
If you are looking for a wonderful family dog who is easy going, fun, sweet and gentle Lilo is your girl! She doesn’t mind a hectic household and is just as content in a quiet household as well. She is not demanding of anything and appreciates all your love and attention. She really is a great dog!!! Lilo’s forever home will need to have a fenced yard to keep her safe!
