Mila

Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie

Adopted!

Mila is ready for Adoption!
Mila is the sweetest thing. She loves her people, and will sit on the couch near you all day. She will ask to sleep in your bed and settles down for the night quickly. She was surrendered to rescue when her owner was going into assisted living and was well loved.

Mila rides well in the car, laying across the seat quietly. Speaking of quiet…she hardly makes a sound! She will potty outside, but you may have to stay to encourage her or she will turn around to come back in. She does know “go potty” and responds well to it. She would love a person that stays home, but will also use pee pads or stay in a crate with a towel if you work or need to be away. She rides well in the car.

Mila enjoys short walks on a leash but sometimes gets worried and stops walking to make sure you are still with her, just talking to her will get her started again. She is fine meeting other small dogs, doesnt play with them just sniffs and looks for her person.

Once Mila gets to know you, she gives the sweetest tiny little butterfly licks to your arm, you can barely feel it…its so adorable! She also grabs her stuffy toy, pulls up on the couch and walks backward to push her rump hard into the couch beside you to lay down next to your leg with her toy while you watch tv.

Mila would do best in an adult home. She has not been tested with children, and does fine when meeting them on walks in the neighborhood but came from an adult home, would like all of your attention, and loves her stuffy toys a bit too much to share with a child.
Mila is just waiting for her right match…is that you?

Mila was adopted on November 26, 2019.
