Rusie is named well; she is sweet and beautiful. Although Ruthie can’t see, she can hear and responds well to a kind voice. Sadly, Ruthie lost her vision to disease and neglect. Still, Ruthie is a happy pup and uses her other senses to get around. Ruthie is extremely smart and easy to train. She is also a submissive pup and will often roll over to show her belly. She loves to have it rubbed! Ruthie has good house manners. She is also crate trained and is learning some basic obedience commands. Ruthie gets an A on every house training assignment! Ruthie is a low energy dog and doesn’t need as much exercise. She loves to stay home, cuddle, learn new things and play with her Kong and food puzzles
Ruthie would do well in a home with another low to medium energy dog she can be friendly with. She would do well in a home that is on the quieter side with older kids and adults. Ruthie would love a fenced in back yard, but it isn’t required. She would be just as happy walking up and down a quiet street on a sniff and stroll
