Update 11/2020: Queen Esther has finished heartworm treatment and will continue to test positive for a few months, but is otherwise healthy and ready for her forever home!
Queen Esther loves to do her part to keep everyone smiling! She loves her walks and gets excited when she hears me getting the leashes out. She also LOVES belly rubs! She doesn’t play with toys so much, but she gets excited when she hears her foster sister play with a toy. Then she’ll try to play with her.
Esther currently sleeps in her bed in her own room. She has a dog bed and a big fluffy comforter I folded for her. She knows what I’m saying when I say time for bed.
She is a silly silly girl. She does try to climb in my lap and she seems to always find her way on the couch when I’m not looking. 🙂 She is a happy go lucky girl and most people don’t even realize she’s blind.
She’s been really good with big and small dogs. She doesn’t like being bullied but is good about giving a mama dog “arf!” to say knock it off already after it’s becoming obnoxious. And then all is forgiven. I really don’t think she would be happy as an only dog. She likes dogs and cats both!
