Scooter
Jack Russell Terrier
Adopted!
Scooter is a sweet older guy who has had some bad luck. His owner became very sick and had to go into the hospital. He could no longer care for him, so Scooter stayed with friends and family for a while. They were unable to keep him so he came to BDRA. He has a heart murmur but is doing well on 3 inexpensive heart meds that cost about $55-60/month (two can be refilled at a local pharmacy). He loves to snuggle with people. He is housebroken but has some accidents. He sometimes wears a belly band in the house, and doesn’t mind that at all. He is crate trained, and does well in his crate. When he first came here, he was very nervous, and wandered a lot. Within a day or two he became much more comfortable. He likes to snuggle in a bed or blanket. He trots around the yard well for an old guy! He also likes to go for walks on leash. He’s met lots of people and did well with them!
Scooter was adopted on January 29, 2018.
