Spencer is an awesome little guy. He’s maybe 10-12 years old. He loves people and is content to hang in a soft bed near his humans. He lives with a male and female dog and gets along well with them. He’s also met younger dogs and puppies and done well. He’s even willing to share his very favorite bed with his foster sister.
He loves treats and will do a little treat dance when you have them. He doesn’t seem to guard his food or treats. When he sees you he wags his tail hoping for some belly rubs.
I’ve been fostering for a long time, and this is one of the nicest dogs I’ve ever fostered. He has a sweet quiet temperament, walks nice on leash (but not too far, he does have some arthritis!), loves everyone he’s met. He doesn’t mind baths, or getting his ears washed. He was really good at the vet when he got his blood drawn. Everyone at the office fell in love with him.
He’s housebroken. He doesn’t get into anything when left alone. He just hunkers down on his bed and naps!
Whoever adopts Spencer will be a lucky person!
