Taffy

Dachshund

Not available for adoption

May 16, 2014: Taffy has been diagnosed with Cushings Disease which is being controlled with medication that she takes in her food once a day. She’s doing very well and she still loves to be cuddled and walked!! Taffy also gets along with other dogs but a smaller dog would be best company for her. Smaller children may be too rough for her, but a home with older children would be fine for sweet Taffy!

January 7, 2014: Miss Taffy is doing very well ! She’s now 10 years old, but you wouldn’t know it ! She was out with my smallest Siberian, Ami, and was a bit snarky at first with him because he wanted to play. She quickly calmed down but was on guard. Sweet Taffy has gained some weight, probably too much for her size. She will do anything for a treat!! She will go in a crate for a while but then wants out. She loves to lay in her crate with the door open! She is doing very well!

February 10, 2013: Beautiful Taffy came to BDRA from a shelter in Alabama. Taffy is a sweet little girl who would probably be best as an only dog. She loves attention and would LOVE to be a lap dog! If you would like to make Taffy your cuddle partner, please fill out an adoption application today!

Taffy is forever in our hearts.
