Miss Wiggly Willow is a typical puppy for her breed. She doesn’t let her sight impairment slow her down at all! She’s happy, crazy, wiggly cheerful, and loves to play and have adventures. She’s a little nervous around new people, but gets over it quickly with some yummy treats. Very food motivated and super smart. Crates like a dream! Excellently potty trained. Still working on not jumping up on humans, she gets so excited that she forgets. Zero issues with cats. Is very doggy language savvy, a simple quiet growl from another dog and she backs off. She LOVES water! Will happily shower with you every single day. Hasn’t jumped up on the counters at all, not even for the cat food.
She needs a strong human leader though. Someone who will set clear and strict rules. She’s smart enough to follow them. Rules make her feel more secure in her life. Willow is still a puppy, she will try getting away with things. Like treat stealing and guarding. A firm, loud, serious correction knocks all thoughts of guarding out of her little brain. She’s also familiar with the squirt bottle. She sometimes forgets not to pull on the leash, but she’s getting better at that too. Puppy brains have a hard time concentrating sometimes. Overall she’s a very good puppy and wants to be a good girl. She just needs to find the right pet parent(s). To learn more about Willow’s adventures, please visit her blog here.
