Zane is a ball of happy puppy energy. Zane mapped her foster house within the first couple days at her new home, and walks, runs, wrestles, knowing where to avoid walls and objects. She adores her entire family. She loves playing and wrestling with her foster doggy brother. Her toys are kept in a basket, and she finds her favorites, carrying them around or teasing her foster brother with them. She’ll flop down on her back for a belly rub in front of her foster family, wagging her tail and wriggling her doggy butt. She loves laying on the couch next to her foster mommy, snoring contently. She has her foster family laughing at her silliness constantly. Zane’s foster mommy is working with Zane on walking on a leash. Zane is learning voice commands, “careful” “hands” “step.” When Zane first came to her foster home she was very startled when someone would pet her or pick her up. She has learned “hands” means someone will touch her, and this has worked great. Zane sleeps in a crate at night, or when her family isn’t right with her, but she’d rather be in a bed! She whines as soon as she hears someone get up to be let out and start playing. Zane has had a persistent, unresolved UTI, so although potty training was going well, Zane presently has many accidents.
