Spotlight: Wilma
Wilma is a wonderful companion and a very charming lady. She will gently take a piece of kibble or a treat from your hand. She loves treats and biscuits! Wilma also likes back rubs and sitting nearby her person. Walking is another favorite activity, and she will tilt her head to listen to the sounds in the neighborhood. She is a gentle walker, doesn't pull, but will stop to listen.
Our Mission
Our goal is to identify and rescue blind and visually impaired dogs of any breed. These may be dogs that have been abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered by their owners.
We network with shelters to help find forever families. The hope in rescuing these dogs is to foster, provide medical care, and adopt them to permanent homes to live their best lives.
Fundraisers
BDRA's Fundraisers include ongoing events that include Pampered Chef, Caesar's Pizza, Bonfire, and Cuddly, as well as special fundraisers that are featured for a limited time.

Events
Our devoted volunteers set up at pet stores, community events, festivals, and flea markets to share about the dogs who are waiting for a permanent home.

Pumpkins with Purpose!
Who needs a pumpkin spice latte when you can have a pumpkin that actually saves lives? For just $5, you can “adopt” a virtual pumpkin and help us show blind dogs the love they deserve. These pumpkins won’t rot on your porch, attract squirrels, or mysteriously collapse after Halloween — they’ll grow into something way better: hope.
