Our Mission
Our goal is to identify and rescue blind and visually impaired dogs of any breed or age. These may be dogs that have been born blind, abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered by their owners.
We network with shelters to help find forever families. All of our available dogs are in foster homes. The hope in rescuing these dogs is to foster, provide medical care, and adopt them to permanent homes to live their best lives.

Poorly Drawn Pets
Remember Poorly Drawn Pets? We're so excited to share that they're back!
This fundraiser runs through September 15th.
Donate $25 to BDRA we’ll draw your pet. The catch? We have volunteers standing by, eager to turn your animal into a timeless work of art (or at least make you laugh). You *might* get one of our extremely talented artists, but we’ll be honest… you’ll probably get someone who can’t draw their way out of a paper bag.
Just donate $25 (Note: $25 is for EACH pet, but you can donate more for additional pets). Donate through PayPal at https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/BlindDogRescue or via a card at https://www.blinddogrescue.org/donate-1.
Then email poorlydrawnart@blinddogrescue.com to comment that you paid, and send a photo of your pet along with your pet's name.
We will draw and send your portrait to you via email as soon as we have your masterpiece completed. Our goal is to get your art back to you within 72 hours, but please be patient if we can't make the turnaround.
