Happy November! The special dog days this month are 11/17 Take a Hike Day and 11/25 National Dog Adoption Day.
Spotlight: Wilma
Wilma just wants to be with a person and has aspirations of being a lap dog. She enjoys walking, but is not a runner, likes other dogs and ignores the cat and rabbit she lives with, so the house stays peaceful. Wilma rides well in the car regardless of where we are traveling, and waits patiently in the car during grocery trips. Napping is a favorite pastime. And anytime treats are involved she is definitely interested. Altogether Wilma is a wonderful companion.
Our Mission
Our goal is to identify and rescue blind and visually impaired dogs of any breed. These may be dogs that have been abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered by their owners.
We network with shelters to help find forever families. The hope in rescuing these dogs is to foster, provide medical care, and adopt them to permanent homes to live their best lives.
Fundraisers
BDRA's Fundraisers include ongoing events that include Pampered Chef, Bonfire, and Cuddly, as well as special fundraisers that are featured for a limited time: Happy Valley Soup

Our devoted volunteers set up at pet stores, community events, festivals, and flea markets to share about the dogs who are waiting for a permanent home.
